Questions can be
asked on any issue related to the work of the Police Authority provided
they are submitted in writing to the Executive Director seven days
in advance of meetings. The person can then ask the question at
the meeting and will receive an oral answer.
Petitions to the
Police Authority require only 10 signatures. They must be submitted
14 days in advance to the Executive Director and the sponsor can
speak to the petition for up to three minutes at the meeting.
