  Freedom of Information

Part 1 / About this Publication Scheme / What it is

The Police Authority is committed to making as much information as possible available to the public. The Freedom of Information Act requires us to produce a Publication Scheme, setting out the classes of information which we publish or intend to publish, how this will be published [i.e. format] and whether there will be a charge for it. Most information provided by the Police Authority is freely available on this website or available from the Police Authority free of charge for single hard copies.

Our Publication Scheme has been approved by the Information Commissioner and is in 2 parts:

Part 1 – Introduction - explains what the Scheme is, and how to access information in it.

Part 2 – Information Classes – lists the categories of information which the Freedom of Information Act requires us to publish.
