1. To undertake an annual review of the Authority's system of internal audit 2. To review and endorse the plans of internal and external audit 3. To review progress in delivering the work of internal and external audit 4. To review matters arising from the work of internal and external audit, including the external auditor's Annual Audit letter 5. To consider and approve the Police Authority Governance Statement, the Statement of Accounts and Statement on Internal Control (SIC) 6. To review the Authority's risk management processes, and 7. To report to the full Police Authority following each meeting
